Episode 23: Genies and homeschooling with Damaris

In this episode, we sit down with Damaris Igwegbe (nee Modipa) talking all things homeschooling. 

 

Below is her bio:

My name is Damaris Igwegbe (nee Modipa) (I have always wanted to use the prefix nee in my name for as long as I was a reader of novels 🤣🤣).

I am a lover of humans, a lover of life and a lover of words. I am an avid reader and I love to write.

I am professionally trained and hold a degree in Analytical Chemistry and I am a former Chemical Laboratory manager in one of the big Petrochemical companies in South Africa.

I exited corporate to pursue entrepreneurship. And this journey keeps evolving. It started off as a co-founder of an e-commerce and retail business and later a restaurant owner.

I am currently the Head Coach for Dama Unleash, a coaching and services practice. This year marks the 4th full year of home educating my two children.

The world of home educating my own children has afforded me the opportunity to unlearn a lot of my conditioning and beliefs where parenting is concerned and it has beautifully supported my ambition for conscious parenting.

I offer private life coaching on a one-on-one basis. I also host a weekly newsletter where I share Self-mastery tools through conversations and what I have learned in my journey of life.
